About Us...

My name is Brian Sawyer, owner and operator of Sawyer Sound. Thanks for considering me to DJ your special event.

Let me start by telling you a little about myself. I have an extensive background in audio production. I studied Audio and Media Technology in Brookline, MA and have since worked with local bands, high school musical productions, church musical productions, and in other live sound and sound recording areas.

Seeing the lack of affordable disc jockeys in the area, I decided to start offering DJ services for those looking for a professional quality DJ, without the ridiculous price tag.

My style is very unobtrusive. Some people like the “center of attention” disc jockey, but that’s just not me. I believe your event should be about your guest(s) of honor, not me. I make any necessary announcements, but otherwise stay away from silly games, props, and cheesy jokes. I let the music do the talking and keep the dance floor full without all the gimmicks.

My music library features a variety of styles and genres. I encourage my clients to be as active in the music selection process as they would like. Some people ask for a broad music selection and others give me a long list of specific songs or artists. My goal is to play the music that you and your guests will love.
